Default Went junking today :)

I needed a rear tag lamp harness for my son's 2013 GMS Sierra pickup. The harness was completely gone after the previous owner put on a lift kit and funky bumpers.

I checked the online inventory at the local LKQ, and they had a truck that should have the part I needed.

I picked up my buddy Mike, since he was bored and looking for something to do, and off we went.

We wandered around the yard for a while and came across a beat up 86 Corvette coupe. Silver with a black interior. Nothing special, but I thought I would check it out.

I opened the door and underneath a pile of C4 interior parts I saw something that was bright blue. I started digging into the pile.

I came out with a set of bright blue vinvl seal covers (tops and bottoms) and a bright blue console for a 1968 Corvette. These parts were new, and still in the wrapping.

Of course I grabbed them. Then as we went to get the truck part I was actually after, I wondered what the yard would charge me for the seat covers and console.

$10 bought all of the new 68 parts, another $5 bought the tag light harness.

Anybody need a set of seat covers and console in bright blue for a 1968 Corvette.

No, this is not an ad for sale, but I will be posting one soon.

Sometimes you just get lucky.

Default 68 Corvette bright blue seat covers

I can use a set of bright blue seat covers for my 68 Corvette vert I am working on (978 Intern Blue/414 blue interior). If you decide to sell, shoot me a PM. I assume the interior parts are in good shape for a driver. Cool story, never know until you go look, ha!
