I do not post much. Some may remember and most have no idea. Hens the title. Well I've been restoring my 68 for 7 to 8 years now. Boy time goes by. So I thought I would post a update. I actually drove it down my street today for the first time. Never drove one before. Here's a few pictures. I did reinstall the wiper actuator correctly.

Awesome job, you should be proud of your work. I never thought I would like the color but I think it is very unique and wouldn't mind having one in that color. Years ago a had a red '68 convertible. It was a good driver and showed well from 20' . I did considerable mechanical work to make it safe and dependable and a new white top. Brings back memories. Again , great work on yours.

Nice work! The engine looks great. So how was the first drive? I am years into a frame off and never have driven a C3. I can only imagine the thrill of the first trip.
That is one nice looking 68 you have done. When I was thirteen years old I helped my neighbor get a 68 coupe back on the road. Spent many hours sanding and working on the cars body. It was a 327/350 , 4 speed , tobacco interior, Corvette Bronze exterior. He was my introduction into the Corvette world. Great job. You will enjoy it for many years.

So the work you did is fantastic. And you have never driven a Corvette?? What must if felt like when you drove this beautiful car down the street having restored it as well as you have?
