2020 Corvette of the Year Finalist (performance mods)
2019 C3 of Year Winner (performance mods)
2016 C3 of Year Finalist
I used the vinyll that the shops sell but it doesnt stick well. I had some vynily floor tape from work that I cut to the same pattern and stuck on the deck and it worked great. I was toying with the vinyl idea as well but my vinyl guy is an hour and a half away....That would be the best way to go. My deck is all scratched up from the hard top.
Mine has some too. There are a couple of shapes around here I think I will look into it.
I talked to the people from clearstatic and they said they were working on it. Never heard
from them again we’ll see.
One of the coolest things I ever saw on a C-3 Vert, was a guy who made a welded steel armature under the decklid and put hydraulic actuators on the hard-top.
He'd arrive at the show, undo the front latches, hit a button and the lid would raise to a 45° angle and stay there.
VERY CLEVER!
Unkahal... I'm Loling a bit....BOTH TOPS are in the backroom....never to be used again.
