The "windjammer "mounts on front t-top mounts and is supposed to deflect air stream higher up , reducing buffeting in cockpit area
question do these really work and worth purchasing for 1978 Corvette with t-tops of course.
With tops off wind seems to hit me right about in forehead, i am not very tall 5-10
thanks in advance

I'm 6'2" and have had one for many years, its GREAT.
Seeing as the Lord as seen fit to greatly thin the top of mellon, a hat is required for those sunny days -- without the windjammer NO hat would stay on over 25 mph.
Easy on and off.
JavaJolt78, I ordered it today from Zip's Corvette, lots of corvette parts companies have the same thing its called the "Windjammer" it 239.00 and was in stock.
Andy, I see someone provided a nice picture but search on "Windjammer corvette" and pick your favorite generation and Corvette parts suppliers link in search results for more pictures. When I get mine next week I will report on it as well

I can't mention the vendor, but if you Google search Windjammer Corvette you will find a company offering them for $219.95 plus shipping. Most other vendors price them at $240 Years ago I had a similar accessory on a BMW 320IS. It really cut down on the wind with the sunroof open.
