I'm going to re install my center console in my 1971 vette, The front fiber optics lens has an opening in the center which seems to align with a screw hole in the front optics bezel. Can anyone tell me if there was supposed to be a small screw holding the lens cover to the bezel or if it supposed to just stay in place until you can screw down the wiring harness with the two outside screws.
I'm attaching a couple of pictures to show what I'm talking about, any comments would be appreciated.
