Presuming it's still hooked up trace the vacuum from the pump back to the source on the carburetor. Remove the hose and cap/plug the connection. If you plug the connection make certain it's impossible for the plug (or any part of it) to ever be sucked into the carb!
You'll then have to cut the hard metal lines that lead into each cylinder's section of the exhaust manifold. You can flatten and bend the stubs.
Then remove the air pump and remaining hoses.
