Found on a 1971 Coupe this bracket sat on the passenger side engine bay; inside fender well; right behind the tire well.
You can see the bracket mounted here on the right side of this picture. I flipped the picture so you would be looking from under the car body upward.
This is the same bracket now that is has been removed from the car body.
Here is the same bracket after media blasting and painting.
I am not familiar with this bracket and my cursory look through the 1971 AIM didn't help me identify the part.
If you know what it is and how it is used I would appreciate you letting me know please.
Going to make someone in need a nice gift, if I can figure out how it is used.
Thank you for your help.

Thank you Greg. This adds to the mystery. This bracket part number was found in the 1968 and 1969 AIM manuals; part number 3921434 and it is called a bracket assembly. UPC 1; Section D7 on both the 68 and the 69. In 1970 the bracket assembly changed in design and part number to 3976510 which was also used in 1971 and 1972 on the passenger side. In 1973 it jumped to the drivers side and became bracket number 334478. Also used on my 1974. Anyway, this bracket was removed from the 1971 body I brought home last week but it clearly wasn't correct on the 71. I find that interesting.
So 1968 or 1969 only; fluid bottle tank bracket. 1967 used a different bracket, called out as 3864370. Got it now, thank you.
Mystery solved.
Best regards,
David

I want to ask if YOU ARE SURE that the inner fender liner is original.
Hal's logic.
1. Tire blows and shreds the fender liner.
2. Owner replaces fender liner with a known Corvette Part...
3. Year undetermined, but the part fit okay.
4. Washer bottle holder was too much for owner/dealer mechanic to move and fill...so they left it.
5. Hey! it's out of the way...who's going to know?
6. The grade of fiberglas shown, (TO ME) looks aftermarket or 'replacement'.
That's my theory and I'm stickin' with it!
Cheers ALL be well!
