My gas pedal is hanging very low. I have noticed the retainer clip is missing and I ordered a new one, but I am having trouble getting it in there. I can't seem to get both my hands in there to install the clip. Is there any special tool, trick or something that can make this easier? Pictures are below.
I've never really seen it as a issue even with new clips
slip it over the cable, pop it into the arm and then bring the cable end into the end, don't try to bring the cable end into the plastic before pushing the plastic into the arm
A little dab of white grease on the tapered area might help
