General question regarding AC
Hello all,
I am looking to re-add ac to my Vet. I have an 80... the cars heater core is shot and leaks, now does this mean the evaporator is bad?

its a job too....get new seals as well..
before you dive into heater...is your existing air r12? Any refrigeratant left in it?
details needed..i would make sure no leaks first

If it was me....
i would replace condenser with newer aluminum...sanden compressor, new accumulator..new orifice or inspection...
of course solvent flush remaining components...install above vacuum down check for leaks..then rip apart dash replace heater core...LEAK check ot prior to instal...do not bend tubes after leak check..check after fitting...
charge ac enjoy...
