Hi Guys, hoping I could get some help with a problem I've been having. My 79 headlights will get stuck in the down position. When I try to manually lift them up the vacuum pressure won't allow them to go up. Actually there is a ton of vacuum pressure forcing them down. After driving for awhile they will eventually pop up and they always go back down no problem.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like could be bad vacuum relays, thats what it was on my 1980. I'd check that first

Nearhawk's post makes a good point. Also, the following Willcox-sponsored post fixes the majority of our well known but beloved headlight vacuum systems when misbehaving due to age - and affordable and satisfying to complete which should last for decades: http://repairs.willcoxcorvette.com/w...placement2.pdf
