I used 6 tubes of 08272 3m adhesive. That included bonding the firewall to the birdcage. The 08115 will give you more working time and take over night to cure.

Make sure you install to test-fit the front bumper before bonding the clip on. Bumperettes too. I assume the clip is all the way off the car? Not just a couple of seperated seams. Are the inner fenders attached to the clip? Is it the orig clip that came off the car, or from another car, or almost worse yet new?

Clip is fully off the car with the inner fenders attached to the clip and it's the clip I pulled off the car, unsure if it's completely original to the car but it's the same one that I pulled off.

Yeah I'm going through old posts now trying to get all the key points. I'm trying to make heads and tails of the 34" measurement.

start reading. don't stop until around part 5 or so. http://www.corvette-restoration.com/...lation-part-1/ this is with a new clip. leave your inner fenders attached to the nose. they bolt to the rad-support to the crossmember to the frame extensions to the frame. and that is a lot of what is attaching the nose to the car. a lot of wiggle adjust room. but inner fenders are probably in the right place for that nose on that car. also these old noses drooped in front of the wheels because of the weight of the headlights. the headlight support bar is attached to the inner fenders in what i consider an inadequate way. little L shaped metal bracket bolted to glass and bolted to the outside edges of headlight support. and that headlight support is a 50 year old piece of stamped sheet metal that was never even attempted to be corrosion protected.
