Default New headlight vacuum lines

Is it a big job to replace new headlight vacuum lines on my 1980 through the firewall? The two lines go into the wall with a rubber gasket.

Certainly not a big job. Secure the new line to the old line to the other with a couple wraps of strong duct tape. Clean both ends with lacquer thinner or rubbing alcohol before. Then just pull through from whichever direction is more convenient.

Another way to consider get some vacuum tube splice-connectors. Connect new tube to old and tape outside too. These things. Whole box at autozone is 5 bucks. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dayco-Produ...Cclp%3A2334524
