All, i am trying to fix my high blower on my 71. Low works. I am replacing the inline fuse and soleniod, but found two un connected wiring harness connectors.

1. A Blue and Tan wire set labled TCJ intake by the mechanic.

2. A L shaped conector with green wires near the horn relay solenoid.

any body have ideas where they go?

That's TCS, transmission controlled spark, emissions systems.
I assume the components have been removed and he left the connector.
What is the vacuum line connected to the distributor hooked up to, carburetor, intake?

Mel,

. Thanks for the reply. I thought that might be the cas. I can't find the connections and tcs from diagrams in the AIM.

what about the brown L shaped connector? It has a green wire and then a green wire doubled on its self back to the aecond prong.

i thought it might be the back up light connector. But not sure.

As far as the vaccum lines, not sure what your asking. The mechanic who redid them did not run them back correctly. So they may not make sense in placement. I am having to work that out. The engine bay needs to be cleaned up.

BLUF: my father bought this car new in 71. Its sat since 84, all matching, 54k miles. I just had it restored but the finishing work in the engine area is less than to be desired.

she looks good. But always needs so kinda work.
