So it’s okay to buy this for $132,000 but not Liberaces car..which is probably built better. I saw the build show of the gas monkey car and it’s a hack job... You could swap out the interior relatively cheap and do a scuff and paint over the purple pretty easily, it doesn’t need body work...
you guys are all jealous because you don’t have $100,000 in pocket change to toss at a world of wheels winner...I personally have about $8.32 in pocket change I’ll donate to the lucky buyer...Maybe I’ll start a go fund me page..

LOL you guys are just to cruel ....I guess you are all to young to know about the cars from the 70s-80s era show circuit, or if you are older too many brain cells burnt from over use of substances . Either way go watch the reaction to Steve Harvey and the audience.
If you like it fine if you don't fine. A real car person would be able to appreciate it for its workmanship.
Too bad Bats has left I know he would have appreciated this car for what it is....I know he still lurksevery so often

Scott that car from Gas Monkey is pretty cool. I remember the show where they tried to install the rear tires but they would not fit because the axle center was in the wrong location. I cant remember if they lengthened the rear arms or shortened them but memory says they got extended. I am not sure how that will effect the handling if they could not put enough shims in for the correct toe. Also wonder how the U-joints fair but hey its a show car not a driver.
Now paint that OP Vette black it would look like something Danny from Counts Customs would build or have Ryan drop down some multi layered candies that would make it pop even more.

thats what I was referring too, they just eye balled it and punched a new hole with a giant drill bit...kind of just slapped it together. “It looks good from my house” kind of attitude....if they ever fixed it they never published it...not a fan of those guys on that show...Actually like the car a lot though, gold with the redlines and George Barrister monkey mobile zoomies exhaust

Actually love anything sticking out of the hood from tunnel rams to blowers and my current favorite......velocity stacks...but not a show car....I have to drive it....staying away from those gravity heavy telephone poles on your street

Some of the stuff they put together is okay but I wonder about some of the quality they do but I am sure tv does not help them at times. Needless to saw Rawlings has built quite a business,
I like some of the things Count Customs builds especially the paint that Ryan does.
My buddy that paints can hang pretty close to them as far as talent. He has done lace, freak drops, flames, heavy flakes lines multi layer candies and pearls. He is known for custom corvette work from Greenwood & Mako Shark conversions to full restorations. ok sorry it sounds like a resume for him lol.
sorry I got of track
This would have won the 87'' Detroit Autorama.......I mean it has everything.....even etched windows....I don't see the chrome naked lady silhouettes anywhere or "Unless You Are In The Nude....DO NOT TOUCH" sticker on the window but it is pretty representative of Cobo Hall, Detroit in 87'
But you know......if you toned down the bling.....fixed that ridiculous blower setup and a got rid of a few things, it would be bad ***.......
Yeah, the guy idles the car up and down the rows on the fun field at Carlisle every year for the last several. Not my cup of tea, but i know a lot of work has been put into it. I'm pretty sure it was featured in one of the indoor displays at
Carlise several years ago too.
I've seen it many times. Not my taste AT ALL. I do have to admit it's actually well done and I'm sure there's a tone of money in it. Unfortunately it's about as desirable as a leisure suit right now. As times change what was now and wow becomes.....well you know.....to be kind...dated? Maybe?
