Default Road Trip Bubba

On a bit of a road trip this weekend and the cracked center console top finally fell out and took the vent with it. Normally that would be fine since there's nothing critical in there, but later it started to rain and we needed wipers. With limited resources on the road and the fact that the wiper switch needs to ground against the now missing console plate, we had to bubba a solution. Who says old cars aren't fun?

you need the top screw, but that works as long as it's the other half and you don't play..

Top screw was the only connection but wasn't cutting it. Got a couple of electric kisses!

I put a separate ground wire so that the plate doesn’t need an absolute perfect contact surface....love the solution you guys came up with on your road trip

Fortunately it was mostly light rain and not for very long. My girlfriend said it was surprisingly comfortable to sit like that!
