Smart Parts for Corvettes told me they just canceled their big tent store after Carlisle management told them half the swap meet guys didn’t book and 30% of the big guys won’t show. I had a bit of trouble finding someone to use my hotel reservations this year. As of today not all are booked like every year before.
Just to let you know. I bought my advance ticket last December. Decided not to go . Sent Carlisle a e-mail asking for a refund and they said I could get a refund or roll it over to next year. Just have to send my ticket per their instructions to get refund.
Look at the bright side when you come back to your state you will be locked up for two weeks or pay the CT fine of a $1,000.00 thats what Conn will do for you! Stay home, wear your mask and get use to the Communist way if you vote DEMOCRAT!
Im new to this forum but was shopping around for a C3 chrome bumper and sent a note to Jodi. She said 300 or so spots were reserved in the Corral. I am leaning on driving down (2.5 - 3 hrs) day trip to see what I can see. From what I gather from this forum, a decent place (and hopefully still this year) to see the good, bad and the ugly on whats for sale. Mainly, wanted to see prices though, as online lots of stuff overpriced and not selling for months on end (until prices drift down)
I will be going up there regardless of the turnout since it is something that reminds me of summer and more normal times. Love to look at the cars, and sometimes I get decent deals on parts. Not the same when you have to wear a mask, but that's a small price
to pay...
If it was a close enough easy drive I can see going and walking around for a couple hours. But for those of us with substantial trips and the need for hotels, etc, there‘s no good reason to go to the diminished event they will have this year. Maybe next year; we will see.
If vendors have what you want and they will be there, then go. The weather is cooler now. Less people, just don’t forget some hand sanitizer and some Ingestible Lysol.

Way to bring politics into a discussion about a swap meet. Nobody cares about your delusional tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theories. People wouldn't think less of you if you kept your crazy thoughts to yourself. You should leave the actual thinking to the adults in this forum, and perhaps try to listen to what scientists and doctors have to say, not politicians.

Well said vette68! - let's keep the discussion about Corvettes!

definately going... its still fun and some semblence of normalcy.. regardless of the big vendors not being there , there is still going to be a bunch of the regular fellas selling stuff. and obviously the cars on the show field.
This will be the first year in years that I'm not going. Unfortunately, the swap meet portion has been losing vendors as the years go by, to the point where we contemplate whether it's worth the 7 1/2 hour drive. This year, between the "usual" vendors bailing and decrease number of vendors in general, we decided to stay home.

This is the reason I will go as well - and because all other car shows have been cancelled...
