Default neighbors 1972 conv.

My neigbor recently passed and his wife is selling his 1972 Corvette conv. I was trying to confirm what she had the console plaque says 350 350 cid 11:1 compression. the vin 1Z67K2S501369 shows basic 350(K) front engine number is VI221TJK CKK or CKX underneath back casting number 3970010 car has LT1 hood and weird front lights set into opening. Is this a LT1 11:1 motor?? have pictures of car number and title 4146981155 cell

Welcome to the Forum, John.
There are lots of great members and helpful info in the C3 sections of the Forum at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1968-1982-5/

I believe engine suffixes for the C3 LT1 engines are:
1970 - CTC, CTB, CRT, CTR, CTU
1971 - CGY, CGP, CGR, CJK, CGZ
1972 - CKZ, CKY, CKT, CKS, CRS, and CRT

CKX is a base 350.

I believe the 72 LT1 had 9 to 1 compression which would mean someone at a minimum replaced the console data plate with a 1970 LT1 data plate.
