Over the past year I have been looking to buy a C3, I almost pulled the trigger on a few of them until I talked to people on here. Y'all have been invaluable in learning what to look for, what questions to ask and when to walk away. I would have bought some junker for too much money and then would have gotten screwed when it fell apart. This week I finally found one, I drove 4 hours out and talked to the guy for about two hours, looked through the whole car for everything on the "10 things to check before buying a C3" list. I am very happy with this one! They guy is a stand up man too, he told me everything that was wrong with it that he knew of and I couldn't find any other issue. It is a 78 C3 with 400 small block, Demon 750 carb, dual flowmaster exhaust (I think) and new radiator, cooling system to help with the bigger engine. It is going to need the pneumatic actuators for the headlights replaced, the interior will need some work (its worn) and within the next few years I'm going to put a new paint job on it. I only have the pictures he posted which are not great quality. I was so focused on talking to him about it and generally excited that I forgot to take pictures. I go back this weekend to pay the rest and pick her up.
Another important question is what is the first song that I blast when I start her up and drive away. I was thinking something classic rock like AC/DC, Highway to Hell. I need suggestions!

You'll probably get a lot of suggestions. Highway to Hell was my autocross song. Given your situation, I nominate 'Running Down a Dream' by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

I'm partial to older classic rock like AC/DC myself, but I found one "newer" song (2008) to be perfect for fast driving, tops off, stereo blasting:

I'd also vote for Red Barchetta first. Synthwave fits well with my 80, though also appropriate for C4s. Here's an example that features a C3 (several, actually, as the filming car was a 78, and the CGI model has chrome bumpers).
LOL, just another outlier. The only music memory I associate with Piggie, since 1976, is driving into Woodville on Rt 135, listening (as much as is possible) to Scott Joplin piano Rags.
Cool scene.....it was super painful to watch that top get ripped off like that.
But I'll second the choice of NO music.....you'll definitely want to get used to hearing the noises of your car.
"Sabotage" is a great driving song. As for no music, let him get the car home with whatever stereo is in there. The real music embargo starts when you add sidepipes.
