I had saved a photo that Alan 71 had posted a while back that showed extremely clean fiberglass. With the interior out of my ‘71 I’d love to get my tub in similar condition. I understand Alan has taken a sabbatical. Would anyone know how to get my interior fiberglass clean to this level?
Start with dawn and water..or as above..i like dawn...
after that tough stuff wipe with wax and grease remover
my original owner spray bombed the spare tire and other stuff silver..i used laquer thinner to remove paint and didn’t touch the glass on a 79...your market may vary...test..
note if you like original markings start with soap and water to check before solvent..
frame paint sucks and easily removed..components were typically e coated or baked on paints that hold up much better
Dawn water soft brish revealed this today..solvent would have wiped it off Previously spray bombed silver including black brackets..

Thanks for the comments. I’ll see what it looks like by the end of the day. lol
Would anyone know how many sq. ft of insulation is required to do the entire tub?
