Trying to get to the point where I can set the front and rear clips back onto the frame and then the doors.
Just completed installing all inspection marks, exhaust, fan, fan clutch and belts.
Sat the air cleaning on there as a morale booster.
Hip replacement in a couple of weeks which could slow the progress but all parts wear out I guess after a while!
Jeff Inspection marks Exhaust Fuel lines hooked up. No tower hose clamps. I do not feel comfortable with them after my C2 body off restoration. Exhaust Inspection marks Morale booster! Fan, fan clutch and belts installed.
Very nice just a side note the green spring label were installed from the outside in so the tail would be inside toward the shock and your rear caliper brake line should have coil armor to protect them from the sway bar. Another detail on original cars the tie rod clamps if the clamps were all hanging straight down bolt heads on the Drivers side point forward and the Pass point to the rear. Don't ask how I know this 40 years of looking at original cars.
Great job Jeffrey, can you tell me what exhaust pipes you are using? I need to have the pipes from the exhaust manifolds to the trans crossmember run exactly like yours. I have the Magnaflow exhaust system from Magnaflow for my 74 454 TH400, but those pipes are right there at the trans pan, and there would be no way to service the trans. Thanks for any info.
