The graphical whole car wiring diagrams certainly have their uses but I find circuit-by-circuit schematics FAR, FAR easier to use for troubleshooting and repair.
Not sure if the '76 has a dedicated shop manual like my '79 but if so I suggest buying one in print, digital or both from one of the vendors as it contains fully schematics and circuit explanations specific to your year and model.
