I believe I have a 1973 z07 like everyone else but I want to be sure it’s the real deal. Here are some pictures of why I think it is.
Any comments would be appriciated.
The ride height is slightly higher than any others I’ve seen from the factory. Any comments or info would be appreciated. There are only 7 leafs on this spring where most have 9. Original 454 long block however some parts have been replaced, and some are in storage. Not the 2 pin calipers it should have but I believe the last owner might have changed them out for the single pin ones to make replacement pads easier to locate.
There is no paperwork presented to validate it is a Z07 and the spring is meaningless as other have commented and you don't have the calipers.
Do the front springs have a tag on them?
your far from proving anything with that info and pics, is it a manual, does it have ac, is there a tanks sticker
it did come with a/c, and it does have the manual 4 speed now m22 gears, maybe converted from the m21? Suspicious about the a/c if not all zo7’s came without a/c. I can’t find conclusive documentation to prove otherwise.
Just sayin- back in the day- I took my 9 leaf spring and pulled out a couple leafs to lower it...
where on the spring would it look like 2 were removed? If so why does it still sit high like the front. And I doubt after all these years the tags are on the front springs still.. lost the tank sheet in a move between houses when I had the gas tank out of it.... 😩😩😩😩
Yep its a corvette but it and the camera need a lot of work.
never mind. It turns out I’m blind and counted the rear leaf spring wrong as 7 leafs but it’s 9. So yes my camera is a pos, and it is in need of a lot of work and I’m probably going blind.. anyway, who wants to buy it? It does have the original numbers matching short block and intake manifold in storage. There is a truck 454 short block with the original #matching heads and manual 4speed transmission in it.
