Speedometer C3 77
Hi C3 owners,
This morning after some period of stop I start driving my C3.
I noticed that the speedometer stop working.
Any suggestion on what to check and where ?

Auto or Manual transmission?
If Auto do you have Cruise Control?
Simple things to check:
Speedometer Gear at transmission
Speedometer Cable or Cables if cruise equipped

For the Gear at transmission is easily accessible ot I need to dismount something ?

You need to raise the car, disconnect the cable from the transmission, attach an electrical drill to the cable end turn it slowly counterclockwise while watching speedometer.
If it turns you have to remove the cable adapter from the transmission case and inspect the teeth on the plastic gear.
If it doest turn you have to determine if the cable is broken.
