Restored the solenoid activated air flap on my 74. Look out New Jersey!

Seriously though... I know there is much debate on its performance worth but its cool to see it in action and talk about at car shows to the unknowing masses..


Anyway, whatever.....

I dig em, who cares what anyone thinks? If they served no purpose GM wouldnt have done it for how many yrs? Lots.

Cold air. Good for performance......................above 5000 rpm. Not so much at 2000 rpm.

I just like hearing the solenoid open the door, when the pedal is pushed to the floor.
