This may help those who are attempting to install Corbeau "shaved" seats with brackets from SpeedDirect ('Mrichi' please read):
When I bolted the "M" brackets to the seat brackets according to the SpeedDirect diagram, they didn't fit in the car. There are two sets of holes, so I changed the selection of the holes and they fit much better, i.e. it moves the seat forward just a little, hopefully the pics will help. Compare my pics to the SpeedDirect diagram...
I'm not sure if you are asking a question or posting a heads up, but you obviously want to use whatever holes that make the floor bracket line up with the holes in the floor. You could move both floor brackets to the alternate holes in both floor brackets (from what you have in pic 2) and your seat would move rearward. I don't recall having any problem with alignment with the floor plates in the car. The holes in the floor bracket are oversized to allow for some wiggle room (need big washers). You might need some spacers between the slider and the seat bracket because when you sit in the seat, it doesn't slide properly...and I'm not a big guy. They only slide about 2" or so. Test it outside the car with you sitting in the seat before you install to make sure you have enough clearance for the seat to slide smoothly....that's my head's up to you. My other bit of advice for getting the outboard rear bolt in is to find a burner wrench and bend it at about a 60-75 degree angle. I bought a cheap set of wrenches at HF that I will bend as needed for various tough-to-get places.
i was posting this as a heads up for Mrichi, here on the forum, who is installing these seats. I tried to answer his PM but it doesn’t allow one to include pics. So I started a thread.
so sorry I confused you but you had a great answer.
Thank you for your instructions on how to installing Corbeau seats the instructions from Corbeau are incorrect so once I adjusted the brackets as per your instructions seat went in
