trying to get the alarm working and it is driving me crazy. passenger side door jam has three wires, one is a ground. the wires go to the relay and flasher as they should. the wires go across to the other door, horn is attched under fender. Key lock has two wires attached going int the engine harness. then there are two leads to the hood sensor. Everything does seem to be attached, but I get nothing. any Help or advise
75 is out of my bailiwick but most of them work on having power supplied to the circuit via the key and then any of the door switches will ground the other side to make the system go off. On my 72, the key switch will provide 12v to the horn from a constant orange, then on the relay there is a yellow wire that once grounded will sound the horn.
Yours might be the same (ground the yellow at the relay with the system armed)

As Mooser stated check to be certain that the horn itself works. They are often corroded due to the location they are placed in and the lack of use. If the horn sounds you now know that its the wiring that needs attention. If it doesn't then you must first get the horn working. They can be repaired. I posted about it a while ago. Ike

Since the horn does not blow, I wonder if you are able to hear a click or something coming from under the jack storage compartment behind the passenger side seat? A click, that is, when you try to set off the alarm. I could on mine, many years ago, and when I replace the horn, it worked. if you test yours and it works, clean up the contacts to the car really good, maybe you will get it to blow.
