Default Climate Control Firewall Vacuum Line...?

I need help with the small 1/16" vacuum line that comes out of the firewall. Is that connected to the yellow vacuum line coming from the tank? Any pics or help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mike

Telling us what year would be helpful! I see what looks like wiper actuator, suggesting an early C3 while later years 75+ use a vacuum line for the early fuel evaporation (EFE) system.

I know exactly which tiny line you're talking about. I broke the t-fitting for it when disassembling the firewall for cleaning and resto... damn little T is practically unavailable! Dr. Rebuild lists them but last I checked he was still shut down. I'll snap a photo of the main line it is pulling from later today. (Mine's a '72)

For me, on my 72 that line is longer and goes over towards the passenger side and Ts into a line that connects to the Metal line across the firewall back to the tank. Which is the yellow line in my case

To answer your question, yes. Here is a pic of my 69 and this is where the vacuum line has tied in as long as I've owned the car. I had to replace the fitting and as someone else mentioned getting a correct one isn't easy to do. I had to replace it with this funky one. Hope this helped.

That's where my 72 is as well so your 70 should have been the same

So I finally remembered to look at my '72's line where I broke the t-fitting. On my car the larger line the Tee splices into is green but regardless, the Tee is placed in the same line as the steel firewall line. About 2" after the steel ends and the large rubber line begins is the T-fitting with the tiny take-off for the climate control line that goes into the firewall about 8-10" back toward the center of the firewall.

If you still need a pic, I can take one for you - after wrestling with the radiator, support, and shroud all day yesterday, it got dark when I remembered to look at it... the sun seemed to go down early!
