If they have rebuilt Delco-Morane (sp?) you're good. If not - don't buy them - personal experience. The 'others' are no name and fail quickly, the Delco's are dependable.

I like NAPA even though a little more expensive. Bought some for another car they came with all the little hardware pieces and painted gloss black. the others seem to stick with bare metal finish

I have bought MANY of them from Auto Zone. They are rebuilt Delco-Moraine OEM calipers. I have never had a problem with them. Also, at $73, they are about $25 cheaper than Napa.

Another 77 here with Autozone calipers. Zero issues in almost 9 years.
Purchased them in the past for prior vettes also with good results.

Ditto here too. IMO, C3 calipers are fixed not floating like modern, and most all will leak eventually. So, might as well save the receipt and get the lifetime warranty.

That "warranty" wont cover the brake fluid used, pads destroyed, or labor cost to change a caliper out. Just saying

Had 2 on my 77, lasted about 5 years and 1 started to leak. Replaced under warranty which was fine but the replacement and the second one they tried also leaked. Not sure if they use a different rebuilder now or if the place was having a real bad week. I didn’t feel like doing it again, free caliper or not it wasn’t worth the grief and time. Bought one from NAPA and been fine since. If you google leaking autozone calipers you get some pretty rough reviews.

My local AZ replaced the pads under warranty as well because the leaking caliper soaked them. I do my own work so no worries on labor cost.

I have them on my 77. Free warranty. I try to find the delco ones, i live near a autozone hub so i can open the boxes and choose what i want.
the rears are tougher to find. sometimes the delco ones are too pitted or the mounting threads are bad, inspect them well.
If the outsides are too pitted, i probably wouldnt trust the mating surfaces to be to good. theyll leak at the oring halves outta the box.
i replaced 1 with a new china ones and it works really good.

ive had to replace 2 so far(for ultra minor leak), in 5 years
