Default ID on alternator
Anybody have the date codes to check my alternator? My 81 was built November 14, 1980, wondering if this is the original unit. The numbers are: 1101 075 70A N060 12V neg.

1101075 is the correct OEM 70 amp alternator for an 81 with air conditioning & rear defogger. Cars without rear defoggers got a 63A alternator numbered 1103103.
