ACI makes an L-88 hood for a '74.

I had the L88 hood on and have removed it. It is a little tall and if you don't need the added height it takes away from the view from the driver seat looking forward. The LT1/BB hood doesn't have this problem. Just my opinion.

Thing about the LT-1/BB hood is that it has less clearance than a stock 74' hood so losing clearance would not make it a popular option.
I have an L-88 hood from ACI on my 72' and it is top notch......
Now that I have the L-88 hood, I don't think I could ever go back.......I had another 72' here for work and it had a stock hood on it, same color and all as mine, and it looked like it was missing something.

I took what Jebby meant is the L-88 hood does have more clearance than the stock '74 hood. I replaced my '76 hood with same L-88 hood as Jebby and there is more clearance.

L-88 has more clearance that stock '74 hood. LT-1/BB hood has less clearance (flat at rear).
