This 1979 with 27k miles was labeled as a star by Mecum. Suggesting they thought it would go for more money than $11,500. Very clean, original looking car. Even with the 10 % buyer’s premium, seems to be a good buy.

It seems like many of the nice C2's and chrome-bumper C3's are not meeting the reserves, and going to 'The Bid Goes On.' Are all of these sellers overly optimistic, or is the market for these cars somewhat depressed? It seems strange that sellers would go through all the fuss to bring their cars to auction during a pandemic if they have unrealistic reserves.
