Default Bumper

I just bought a 1975 Corvette with 3 thousand actual miles on it. The gentleman i bought it from bought it new Nov. 1974. he played with it for 2 years putting on the 3k miles. In 1977 he parked it in a heated garage and there it sat until i just now bought it. The front and back bumpers both need replaced since they are the original polimer bumper covers. They are brittle and cracking. I will be ordering new bumper covers and the question i have is the choice of fiber glass and also fiber glass with flex. Which one should i go with?. I'm in the process of replacing every thing i can think of that is rubber. Tomorrow going to pull distributor and put the tool down and make sure oil pump is free and working. So much to do before i get the chance to fire it up bringing her back to life. Looking foward for your recommendation on which bumper cover to purchase..Thank You all in advance.

I went with fiberglass bumpers (not flex) front and rear.

I ordered them from J & D Corvette

What you use is a matter of personal choice, but be aware the aftermarket covers all require fitting to your car.
