Side Pipe Sneak Peak

Had to share these with you guys. Mounted the new covers today, the actual side mufflers are on order but I couldn't wait to mount them.

Was so excited I started to lower the lift and take it for a cruise when I realized the steering column is out of the car for my tilt/tele conversion.

OH My, That's what my "BLUE" has been looking for. Did you fire it up? Sound REALLY good? Where did you get them?

Those are just the covers have the actual side exhaust on order. Got everything from Ecklers on Ebay.

Ok, I'm about ready to push the button on a set but have reservations on busting header bolts 46 years in there. Want to do the headers and all.

But yours do Look GOOD!

Create a habit of soaking the bolts daily with penetrating spray for many days prior to trying to undo them. Transmission fluid makes a great penetrating fluid as long for bolts that are completely stuck. I'd probably do it daily for at least a full week or 2 before actually being ready to the job
