Default 82' Crossfire exhaust

I am looking to install side pipes in my C3 collector edition. so far I haven't seen to many collector\crossfire cars with side pipe.
My goal is to install this (below), if side pipe is not possible I do not mind to install it as regular exhaust system:

1 Item: 25RES-IN
4" 25VP-IN 2-1/2" 3-1/2" 12” Chambered
2. http://www.classicchambered.com/classic/products.html
14” Resonator Combo 33-1/4".

The first two items are for 4" diameter tubes such as Hooker Side Pipe Headers, not sure what you are trying to create, 69 style factory side pipes or aftermarket header side pipes?

Part of the reason you don’t see many is you need to retain the Oxygen Sensor for the Fuel Injection and it’s tougher to do on the Hooker style exhaust and it moves the 02 Sensor further away from the engine so the 02 Sensor don’t respond as good faraway as they do closer .
Probably much more doable on the “69” style side pipes with Hedman side exit Headers and just mount the 02 Sensor in the Header Collector .

Here’s the 1969 style that’s a cover for the factory side pipes , you can use this with Hedman side exit ( aimed towards the side for easy side exhaust hook up) headers You can still use the Hooker style but the oxygen sensor isn’t in the best spot if you do because the collector is next to your door ....

Can you send me a link please for the 2 items? I couldn't find it...
Also, does anyone tried to weld the O2 bung to regular OBX system?

yes you can weld a Bung on to OBX , Hooker or Doug’s side pipes and of those three I would go Doug’s

He already has the OBX exhaust so it is not clear how his engine is running correctly without the O2 sensor.

It's your car and you WILL do as you like.

My comment; The car you HAD, WAS a COLLECTOR EDITION....you are steadfastly making it NOT A CE.

There are other CE's out there with FACTORY side-pipes. You need to use the search button MORE.
