C3 Dashboard replacement
Hello! I recently got a 76 corvette, and the interior needs some work. Basically, it sat out for many years and water leaked in and destroyed the dash. It came out in pieces. All that's left is a gear shifter, a steering wheel, and a bunch of loose wires that almost certainly have to be replaced. I was wondering, what do people usually do to replace these dashes? I'd rather not go full custom or pay someone to do it, so do y'all have any places you'd recommend for getting a replacement dash? Is there a full kit I can find for it? I was thinking about checking out a corvette junkyard, but I'd rather get something nice and clean, if possible.

You really need to check the "birdcage" (the under-structure of the windshield surround and the rear of t-top frame) for rust. That much water inside, to destroy those parts as to come out in pieces, is extremely severe water damage.

Then you gotta wonder how much water sat in the car and for how long. I'd be lookng at the gauges, seat frames, everything inside. Are the carpets moldy?
