Hmmm?
I was trying to determine if this car was a '75 or '76. It's a little difficult to tell if the steering wheel is fat enough to be a '76 or thin enough to be a '75. Then I thought, the seats look White so it must be a '76. Except that the seats are missing the upper trim insert and the upholstery pattern is not correct for '76. Custom reupholstered maybe?
Where is this car today? There doesn't seem to be any info about it related to Paul McCartney anywhere in interweb world. I wonder if maybe someone loaned the car to him?

Either way, Paul probably crashed it as a result of driving on the wrong side of the road.

I agree. It is a 1976.

Greg, 1976 seats did not have the metal upper trim insert that previous years had. The base vinyl seat back cushions had the vertical rib pattern you can see in Paul's car. In addition, you can see the grid lines in the rear window for the optional C49 Electro-Clear rear window defogger. 1976 was the first year for this electronic design. As you know, previous years (called C50) used a fan mounted behind the drivers side rear wheel hump, no grid lines.

1976 base vinyl seat in white:

Question: Are there two other people in the car with him? Whose arm is that behind his head and left shoulder?

Good eye brother!
I missed the rear window defogger.
And yes, it looks like two other people in the car to me as well.
Another cow sitting on the e-brake console and cracking it!!!
