69 Fuel Line Question...
Question - Does the 69 fuel line (feed) have the protective spiral anywhere on the line? I've restored one 69 and I'm on my 2nd. Both cars original lines did not have the protective coil. The main brake line did however. The new lines I bought for the last car also did not have this on the fuel line. This time, I ordered from Inline and it does have the protective spiral. This is the first time I've used them and they seem to be great, and I asked them about this and they said that its the way their dwgs. say the line is to be and it's to be located at the 45* gusset at the rear, just before the kick-up. Not a huge deal, but I just wanted to know what was correct? I noticed that some other vendors say in the descriptions that the fuel lines do not come with the protective spiral "as original".
