Is there anyone with a '70 C3 near Atlantic Highlands NJ who would let me see and take pics of a complete engine installed in your car?
I am looking to see how the alt/power steering brackets are installed and the many other hoses and parts that I will need to hook up on a car i am getting tomorrow.
No rush as I have to rebuild the engine, but as I get ready to put it back i can use the look.
This car has a block and nothing else. I have lots of brackets and parts from another car I can use but don't know exactly how they pair up..
If you plan to keep, and work on this car, you should really buy an AIM (Assembly Instruction Manual) for your specific year. It will show every single part, and where it goes. A VERY valuable tool for your garage!
Thanks, I'll be in touch! Door gunner on what? I flew a CH-53D USMC. We couldn't hit anything with a 50 cal when we trained unless it was really big!
Steve,
Ch47...they removed the 50 cals because the fuselage rivets were vibrating aloose. They gave us M60s, but never enough ammunition. After a month with an M60 accuracy became very good...as in taking off the left ear of an NVA without hitting his cheek.
But I digress. Keep us updated on your progress with pics
just thought I'd jump in here cause I heard M-60. I carried one with 1/6 1987-89. Most uncomfortable weapon I ever carried 44 miles in Okinawa.
Oh Rah!!
