I installed the trans tunnel insulation ( to rigid and brittle ) now im trying to install the firewall and under seat insulation, so whats the trick, I cant get it to conform to the firewall, I have both side slid back underneath the seat area, thats the east part, do you have to cut and tape it ??
What type of insulation are you using...felt? HVAC Foil with air pockets? Dynamat thick flat sheets? Etc.?
The type of insulation has alot to do with how you make it conform and stay in place.
I used a combination of spray-on adhesive sparingly, and heavy-duty aluminum tape to seal ALL seams.
The interior wheel wells and cargo area were also covered.

OK, sorry. The cut pieces of insulation are a strange shape. It took me a while until I figured out how the place them.
You will need to bend them over and also probably make a few cuts or trim. Also it is easier if you have some insulation
foil tape. Where you make the cuts etc the tape helps hold it together. Once the shields are on then it is not going anywhere.
