This might be a dumb question. I have an 80 and I installed an aluminum radiator and electric fans but the stock upper radiator hose is bothering me with the look of that wacky bend in it to fit with the original fan shroud. Does anybody know of a different upper hose I can get that would fit with a more straight forward look?
Show us a picture of your setup so we can eyeball the situation.

Try a 79? Are you sure that hose is original? Looks like you have a gates plastic line..try oem style..the one in pic is original..link says fits 79 too...looks like what you have https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/b...tor+hose&pos=4

Just for consideration.
I installed a 1977 upper rad hose on my 68. I put it on and then trimmed about 1/4" to 1/2" off the thermostat end. It fits quite well. Let me see if I can find a picture.
