Don't feel bad. In November of 2019, I raced an Audi R8, the 600hp V10 bad boy. He wanted to race me, not the other way around. My 2000 Vert looks totally stock, so he probably thought he was gonna show an old C5 what modern cars run like. Well, he didn't know a built LS7 lives where the LS1 once did. I didn't kill him, but pulled ahead at least 2 car lengths from a 30mph roll to 110mph!!! I got comments like "I'd sure rather have an R8 than a C5 any day", and "it must've been the 500hp version", etc, etc. Go figure, or better yet, go to the Audi R8 forum!!!

Same scenario with Dinan Modded M5 F10. Backed out of my Caminos throttle at about 150, pulled over and chatted a minute
Yes I declined to follow him down the mountain lol. Those are TT 550hp stock before mods.
