Default L68 with AC, exp. tank overflow hose mounting

Hi. I am brand new to the corvette forum... I'm really hoping someone out here can help..I have a 1969 Corvette L68 with original factory air conditioning, numbers matching..I am the ninth owner.
So the car has had a lot of hands on it...I'm trying to bring it to factory original specs. My question is ...I'm trying to find an accurate diagram or better yet a picture that someone has of the factory correct routing ,of the brass coolant expansion tank overflow hose? Not the heater hose connections. The brass log ,expansion tank over flow hose that drains to the ground... Mine just drains straight down.. But i know that's wrong because i recently purchased an all original expansion tank that has the original overflow hose with three factory clamps and bolts still wrapped around it.The hose is 75 inches long so i know it can't be routed straight down, and then 3 original clamp retainers have to mount somewhere.?.. Once again my car is an original L-68 with Air Conditioning . All the pics on the internet ,only show the aluminum expansion tank overflow hose, but no pics actually show the correct mounting point for the soft clamps, that mount it somewhere.. Any help or pics are greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Both the factory assembly instruction manual (AIM) and the NCRS '68-69 judging guide may have the info you're after. The AIM will almost certainly have a diagram of the routing while the judging guide may describe it with possibly a photo.

Sorry I don't have specific info to directly answer your question, but the AIM is a must have resource for returning to original design configuration. (There are documented anomalies with individual cars, but the vast majority abide by the AIM.)

Does that line go to the radiator? That line has the clamps on it.

So I realized that you may be confusing the two small hose connections. The one in the neck of the tank just below the cap drops to the ground and the other small elbow in the end of the tank runs to the radiator. That radiator hose is longer but certainly not 75" - more like the shorter side of 36".

My '72 AIM shows the hose dropping straight down whether using the brass tank, an aluminum tank, or the LT-1 where the hose drops directly from the radiator.

Here's a pic of my 454 LS-5 (ignore the ziptie holding the heater hoses - once the AC is reinstalled both of these hoses will be routed appropriately). The topmost hose on the lower left is the small hose to the radiator; the hose immediately below the cap is the overflow:
