Default Porter Cable 7424xp polish

Hi everyone

I bought a Porter Cable 7424xp. It will arrive next week.
What is a good and easy to use polish?

I've got a bottle of Meguiar's ultimate polish laying around, but that's for when you polish your car by hand, no?

My Vette has the original 1977 black paint. It has some small bubbles (some say that's because of the AC compressor).
Should I be careful when polishng the spots that have those little bubbles?

There's a forum here on detailing that will have many many opinions that you might want to check out.
The 7424 is a great little machine, typically you'll want to change the backing pad to something better for polishing (LC or someone elses)
Orange pad (cutting) with Megs ultimate compound (a less aggressive version of M105) works fine by hand or RA polisher for removing scratches, (still a pretty aggressive compound) then go to a polishing pad (frequently red) for ultimate polish (again a less aggressive version of M205, maybe more oily) is more of a glaze for removing / hiding swirl marks in the paint.
I'd be fairly leery of any bubbles, tape them with some blue painter tape and do those areas by hand

Just me $.02, lots of different feelings for detailing products and methods out there
