Beautiful 72 in a great color. The selling price is pretty much what he was looking for as it was on eBay for 63,000.00 and Mecum it was a No Sale at about the same price.I thought it would Sell in the 70-75k range as the Prices on BAT for 68-72 ‘s have been Strong.
IMHO that was ALL the money for a 72 base motor car -
I would much rather have the 9k mile Laguna Grey 1970 LT1 2 top Roadster with original tires and exhaust which Keith bought.
Gen Ike asked if GM was that sloppy... lol the plug wire stands on the intake on my LT1 are brush painted with orange then brush painted with silver and it is all mixed together - FWIW this is not uncommon - it is a PRETTY common sight on low mile original LT1's.

...even without A/C!!! Which is the way I actually I like 'em!!! This car all this time was only about 53 miles from where I have lived in Ohio for 32yrs!!! Hopefully, the buyer "originalJeeps" isn't going to turn it into some kind of wild 4WD creation...
