Has anybody done this? If so is it easier or harder to enter and exit the vehicle. What stops the door from folding in and hitting the body when they are raised. I am not asking for anybody’s opinion on fitting these just how do they function in real life.
I understand your not looking for an opinion on how totally ridiculous they look. So, I can offer that those I have met that made this mistake, 2 people I have met over the last 35 years. both had major issues. Done totally to impress young boys at car shows. nothing but trouble unfortunately.

Doors don't open as far, the doors are titled out when up so gravity keeps them from hitting the body when open.
The reason I am asking is that after 6 knee surgeries and a total knee replacement, my left leg does not bend like it use to, so getting in or out of a car is not as easy as it used to be. I have seen these hinges that are just bolt on so that is what got me thinking about this. Having that bottom corner all opened up looked very inviting. I think you can now see why I am asking.
