Default L82 Engine Identification - odd code?

Good Morning, I could really use some help identifying the engine stamp number from the block, located on passenger side, in front of the AC compressor. I have read posts but can't seem to make sense of the code. The car VIN identifies it as a 1979 Corvette, L82. Driver's side rear has a block number of 14016379 which seems correct. Can anyone make sense of the numbers stamped into the engine in the pic below. Thanks in advance for your help.

That does not appear to be a factory stamp. Also it looks like the original stamp has been ground off. Perhaps a rebuilders stamp?

Is an example of a over the counter crate engine. "2800" is the last 4 digits of the GM part # for the crate engine assembly.

I'm going with over the counter 350 crate motor, found an example of the same pad that the owner said it was a crate motor, it was stamped VG215268.

Even though Driver's side rear has a block number of 14016379?
