I can’t seem to find any info on my problem.
I have a 78 and I disconnect the battery often when the car sits for a while and sometimes when I reconnect the battery some things don’t work. Usually the radio and wipers. Eventually they come back after a few days of starting and running it around for a bit. It’s a brand new battery and alternator. I’m scratching my head for answers.
Corvette electrical..... Almost always a ground issue
Try to figure out which items are consistently not working and look at the schematics to see if they are on common circuits, then work from there

Some things? What else?
The radio and wipers share the same power wire off the ignition switch.

corroded connection possibly, I would start like the guys above mentioned, with the ignition switch and the grounds behind the dash. If it issnt those 2 it could be corrosion in the behind the fuse box. I had a wire corrode through back there...
So maybe pull the dash, it would be easier to get to the radio, the fuse box and the wiring harness. Its also easier to do all that with the seats pulled. You can redye the seats and the dash too. ANd maybe the center console since they will be all out. And since all that is out, then get into redoing the carpet while you are in there. And since the carpet is out you can really clean and lizard skin the floor for the heat issues. And since the interiors out you can redo the wriing harness to make sure all those connections are good. Why stop at the interior harness, you can do the front and rear harness as well. And since you have the the front harness out you can clean the engine compartment. Oh and since thats looking good you can clean and repaint the motor. Well , it would be easier to repaint the motor with it pulled so why not, it has some issues as well , right. Oh and the tranny seals have been dripping so you can pull it and take care of it. Maybe the rear main seal on the motor and those valve cover seals are a mess as well. Oh and you really wanted to freshen up the motor and get a few more horses, we all have. Am I right or what...Since all thats out it would be a good time to clean and pain the the body underside and clean the frame. And those body mounts are split so may as well just loosen those and lift the body a hair to clean the top of the frame. If you are lifting it a little youcan lift it alot and change out that rusted fuel and brake line, they are going to have to get replaced sometime.........
Or maybe just wait for the radio to fix itself again while you just sit back and enjoy a cold adult beverage or a pint of Ben and Jerries cherry Garcia....thats where I am right now

So... I put a quick release on my battery last year and put it on the negative side. I switched it over to positive side and low and behold, everything works! I think your advice about the poor ground was the problem. Appreciate the advice.
I'd suggest a battery tender. Mine charges through the cigarette lighter receptacle so I don't have to disconnect/reconnect battery every time you want to start it.
