First check your vacuum line and the fitting and grommet. a friend with a 76 recently thought he needed a new booster. found the elbow fitting was cracked.
However, and mind you I don't know everything, but the only USA made one I'm aware of is the Tuff Stuff brand. available through Summit or just Google Tuffstuff .
