Convenience Group Option?

Here's the way its written up in the NCRS operations section of its technical manual. There is a note that early 77s with ZX2 did not include the spare tire lamp.
The Convenience Group includes courtesy lamp operation when either door is opened and upon exit of passengers doors closed. Lamps are located overhead (dome light), under the instrument panel in the foot wells of each side and a spare tire lamp. The spare tire lamp is located under the forward center edge of the rear bumper cover while a lamp is also located under the hood. Check its operation with hood up.
Once passengers exit the vehicle and doors are closed, interior lights as well as the lamp at the rear of the vehicle (located under the bumper), remain on for approximately 30 seconds. The courtesy lights illuminate for a period of 15 seconds when the ignition switch turns to the off position.
The spare tire lamp, also illuminates with the courtesy light function. To activate the spare tire lamp, open a door or rotate the headlight switch counter-clockwise. The spare tire lamp remains on for the 30 second period, same as the interior courtesy lights. Score courtesy lamp function under the map pocket line item.
Headlamp Warning Buzzer
A headlamp On reminder buzzer provides an audible warning when the light switch is in either the first or second detent position but actuated only when the ignition switch is turned to the Off or Lock position. With the headlights on, ignition Off and warning buzzer “buzzing,” the audible warning is silenced by rotating the light-switch **** counter clockwise.
Low-Fuel Indicator
A red low-fuel warning lamp is located in the center gauge cluster and illuminates when the fuel tank registers approximately five gallons or less. Compare the registration of the fuel gauge needle to the low-fuel lamp. If fuel tank gauge shows low-fuel, then the low-fuel warning lamp should show low fuel as well

It is simply not correct for the 1977.
There is absolutely NO relationship between the Courtesy Light circuit and the ignition switch.
Also, some early build 1977 did NOT have the Low Fuel Warning light with the ZX2 option. It simply was not available.

The photo is from a June 77 built car
My understanding, a credit was given on the early ZX2 optioned cars for the Low Fuel Warning Light module because it was not available when production of the 77 started.
My Low Fuel Warning Light comes on when there is approximately 3 gallons of fuel in the tank.
Mine was not working for the longest time, found a old tread where forum member ...Roger... responded with a hand drawn diagram so I went from there. Thanks Roger!
This is what I did to repair my Low Fuel Light Module.
I have not found any GM produced electrical line diagrams including the Colored 1977 Corvette Electrical Troubleshooting Manual that has the Spare Tire Light circuit drawn in.
The spare tires empty tub doesn't need to see anything anyway, LOL.
And ps.
I laminated a C3 paper logo, cut into a circle and stuck it over the never moving clock.
