Ok, I have had it out there for some time that I am actively searching for a "Trans Am" style rear spoiler for my 71, this item was called that and offered by Ecklers back in the day, I have been on the hunt to no avail. My interest is in Ecklers parts, as I have an Ecklers tilt and have found NOS garage finds of a front spoiler and ZL-1 rear flares. I am not opposed to restoring a piece off an old backyard/ garage/ boneyard find or if necessary creating one but I thought I'd give it another shot. Clearly there is still a underground desire for these parts, especially by the non matching, old school loving, VETTE magazine (RIP) reading, non purists such as myself ...
Shouldn't be too hard for someone to make (reverse engineer from pictures). I cut one off my 65 and there wasn't a whole lot to it other than the two steel rods used to position it (holes drilled into rear deck). Cutting those cost me a trip to the ER.
I agree! Contact Eckler's. Years ago when Ralph owned the company, they used to give tours of the fiberglass manufacturing building.. They had all of the molds lined up and could make anything as long as they had the mold. I admit, it has been years. Good luck. Jerry
Yes I have contacted Ecklers, as has David Howard through a contact, they are no longer producing this part.
I may have to resort to producing it myself, as it more resembles a 75 to 81 Camaro spoiler I have purchased one as a guide or template just in case. Obviously I would prefer the real deal to save time.
Thanks,
Dave

I assume you've contacted Eckler's? If anyone has a mold, it'd be them.

That's what I would do but even if they still had to mold would they make a one-off and then how much would it cost. I suspect it would be cheaper to buy the mold off of them and make it yourself.
Just a thought - you might try Paul- AKA "The13Bats" - he might have one laying around or know of someone who's got one. Doesn't post anymore- but will respond to emails.
Give ‘DAD’@ Dynamic Corvettes a call. 989-249-1100
I had contacted them via email a while ago ...
“Sorry we aren't making that part at this time. We have lots of new products on our list we plan to build but that not one of them at this point. We'll add your request to our list.
